Food Court

Food Court

For the Food Court project, I delivered a prototype for an online ordering app. I created an ordering app for the made up Mexican company ”Wrappy Wraps”.

I also made the final product in the Mexican style.

Mind map

I started the project by making a mind map about the country (Mexico). I did this to get an overview of all my ideas and styles that fit with the country. This mind map helped me with the rest of the process.

Collages

After making the mind map I made three colleges, based on different aspects of the country.
I did this by tearing magazines and sticking the pieces on. They are three different subjects. I also based my sketches on these collages.

Sketches

I have experimented with many different sketch styles, some based on my collages and some based on my own initiatives.
In the end, I chose a style from my own initiatives, because I thought it best suited the style of the country and I immediately had all kinds of ideas for the ordering app.

Low Fidelity Wireframe

I made a low fidelity wireframe, through this low fidelity wireframe I built my app prototype.

Ingredients

These are my final ingredients illustrations. I made the ingredients illustrations in round shapes and bright colors, because that fits well with the country of origin, I also used the style of the ingredients illustrations for the rest of my app prototype.

Logo

This is the logo of my made-up online ordering app, I used ”TodayShop” as a font, it is a skeleton that of course fits the country of origin Mexico, also here I have used round shapes and bright colors to preserve the feeling of the country.

Logo Animation

I even animated my logo, to give more life to the logo.

Styleboard

This is my styleboard for my app prototype, in this overview you can see all the elements I used in my app prototype. Creating this styleboard gave me a vision of what I want my app prototype to look like.

App Prototype

This is my final app prototype. This video gives an overview of what it looked like in the end.
